Dash 8 Q400 Type Rating

GOWFLY AVIATION TRAINING provides the DHC8-Q400 Type Rating on D Level Full Flight Simulators with Instructors who are active and retired airline pilots, offering the best conditions for a successful airline career.

Entry Requirements

Valid EASA or ICAO CPL(A) with current ME/IR Rating
Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4
MCC and Advanced UPRT (only for EASA and first Type Rating)



TRAINING SCHEDULE

Theoretical
The ground school consists of computer-based training (CBT) theory and CPT sessions. During the theory part a final examination has to be passed.


Simulator
The practical part will be done at the location of GOWFLY AVIATION TRAINING partners. Each FFS session is comprised of 4 hours of flight training for a crew of two pilots. A minimum of 8 FFS training sessions and 1 Skill Test session are required.

Base Training
The Base Training consists of 4 to 6 touch and goes, including one go-around in the actual aircraft provided airline companies we have agreements with
